6 tips for clarifying your Soul’s Purpose
Clarifying your Soul’s Purpose is like doing a dance with your spirit, you just have to learn the steps. They are as easy as 1,2,3…

6 tips for clarifying your Soul’s Purpose
1. Decide ~ Make the decision that you want to know your Soul’s Purpose. Decide that knowing your Soul’s Purpose is important to you.
2. Request ~ Have you heard the saying “Ask and it is given”, it is true. You have to ask for what you want. Make a request to know your Soul’s Purpose. Say it out loud “I want to know my Soul’s Purpose”.
3. Listen ~ Once you’ve made a decision and a request, you have to listen for your spirit to respond to your request. The way to listen is to notice spirit nudges and intuitive guidance. Notice when you feel drawn to something, notice when something glows with excitement for you.
4. Decipher ~ As you listen within, you need to be able to decipher what is your spirit talking and what is something else. Your spirit speaks in joy, aliveness, health, invigoration, and relaxation. When you feel these you can rest in knowing your spirit is present with you.
5. Respond ~ When you hear your spirit you must respond to it. If your spirit guides you to do something you must do it. If it is true spirit guidance you will feel awakened by the notion of doing what is asked of you, even if it seems challenging. Respond to your spirit by acting on your intuition.
6. Trust ~Trust your own rhythm and you will waltz right into your purpose.

Yes, Trust is the final and key step!
No one else can tell you your purpose, you have to trust what is true for you!

Laura,
These are great stepping stones (your 6 steps) to finding soul purpose AND finding out about many other things, too! We do so much better in life when we learn to feel for and listen to intuition and our inner voice. Love the dancing photos, too!

Great article Laura! Your explanation is so simple yet so profound. That still small voice…although sometimes I wish it was a whack to the head with a two by four(maybe I would listen better:)) Thanks for the insight.

Did my husband just give me permission to hit him over the head with a two by four?:) Maybe he would listen better! On a more serious note…the pictures are beautiful and a great canvas for this enlightening article. Thank you for providing the clarity we all need to sort through all the ‘noise’ around us on a daily basis. Listening to the world’s opinion of who we should be…but trusting and knowing that the truth is found within. Thank you.

Hi Laura,
I really needed to read this post. It’s so easy to lose sight of what truly makes your spirit sing in the hustle of bustle of every day life. These steps will really help to guide me in listening and noticing. Thanks so much!

Laura,
Once again your gift of tapping into creativity and encouraging others to explore theirs is so refreshing.
Great pictures of the “Soul Dancing” too. I think many people wish they could tap into their own creative energy and be so free in expression.
Keep on doing what you’re doing because it makes a difference.
Write on!~

Laura – Love the photos! Of course the write up is well thought out too. Respond stands out for me. So many entrepreneur clients of mine have ideas and then never take action. As you wrote “Respond to your spirit by acting on your intuition.” I agree.

Laura, so simple! And often, Listen, Respond, Trust are the parts we are weak at. Thanks.

I love these photos Laura! You look like you are having so much fun. You have taken The Secret’s “Ask, Believe, Receive” to a new level. I love the simplicity. I will print this out as a daily reminder. Thank you for sharing your spirit.

Laura — as always, you have such an incredible way of quietly and yet powerfully getting the heart of the matter. I completely agree with the steps you gave, especially listening to what you are drawn to and what “glows with excitement” for you. LOVE that visual – and I relate so much to that because I know when something is glowing for me. Thank you for putting this into such simple and elegant terms. And thank you for the gorgeous photos. My whole soul is sighing after seeing this post.

Laura -
As long as my soul dance doesn’t look like “The Elaine”, I will go with it
!
I really like the way you have laid this out – with the steps. Very simple, yet very poweful.
Thank you so much for the beauty and creativity you bring to the world!
